Chris Jericho was at the Sacramento Horror Film Festival two weeks ago… for a screening of a movie in which he appears. During a Q&A session, Jericho referred to the moderator several times as “Hadji” — a term sometimes used as a racial slur against Middle Easterners.

After the first wave of slurs — and a random shot at Paris Hilton — the host jokingly takes Jericho’s drink to sniff it for booze, when Chris chimes back, “it’s apple juice … fag.”

Jericho tells TMZ, “After seeing the video I realize some inappropriate comments were made and I apologize if I offended anybody.” Jericho continues, “Just know that everyone on stage was having a blast and we all shared a drink and a laugh after! The good news is I got my wish of being posted on TMZ.”

Went out of town to see my grandma who’s visiting from Jersey. My cousin has this gadget that has 35 games from the Family Computer, and I spent the better part of last night playing Bomber Man. Until last night, I never realized how pointlessly violent it was. But that didn’t make it any less fun to play again.

Look at that balloon thing go.

Paid my respects to my dad last night on All Souls Day.

He’s been gone 17 years now.

Headed to the cemetery right after my Halloween show. Every year, thousands upon thousands of people in the Philippines flock to the final resting places of their loved ones to pay their respects. Some of them spend the entire day there, seeking refuge from the sun in tents they brought or under nearby trees, while some others camp out and spend the night. There would be fast food stalls everywhere (my favorite thing to do there is to eat at a KFC stall), and every minute you’d hear someone looking for someone else over the PA system (it can actually be funny sometimes cause you’ll hear people saying, ‘Please go back to your father’s grave now.’). It almost feels like a festival, or maybe even like Woodstock, but just for the dead.
